The most popular part of the Australia House are the kangaroos, wallabies, and emus that are outside, around the building. The inside of the building is worth a visit as well, however. It’s one of the original Brookfield Zoo buildings, and contains snakes, lizards and birds in the main area. There’s a small door that points to the bats and wombats—follow that to see the cute wombats, and enter a free-flight area with bats that will entertain kids and creep out adults.
The closest bathrooms are back by the North Gate of the zoo.
