Inside Ancient Egypt - Field Museum

For social distancing during Covid, the tomb itself is closed to the public. That's the best part of the exhibit, but for kids interested in mummies or ancient Egypt, there are some interesting artifacts in the lower level of the exhibit. Enter from the ground floor.

A large part of the lower level of the exhibit focuses on death and burial traditions. Other than the topic, there is no disturbing material, and most kids should be fine going through there (either young enough to not understand it or old enough to be okay). If you really want to skip it, you can do so by going in through the exhibit's exit rather than its entrance.

The rest of the lower level focuses on trading and commerce in ancient Egypt, as well as a nice boat from that era.
