Toddlers - Field Museum

For toddlers, the animals exhibits can be big hits. The animals may not move, but being up close makes up for it, at least for a while. Because the animals are split into multiple sections, I’ve created a page with an overview of your options.

And, of course, there are dinosaurs. Evolving Planet, which has most of the dinosaurs may not interest younger toddlers, but those nearing preschool age will likely enjoy the exhibit a lot. And Maximo, the titanosaur in Stanley Field Hall is likely to be a hit for everyone, especially because you can climb up on the base and touch it.

When they’re tired of just looking, use the excellent Play Lab (open every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays) as a place to run around and play.
