Stanley Field Hall - Field Museum

Stanley Field Hall is the main hall in the Field Museum. If you come in the North or South entrances (the non-accessible entrances), you’ll be in Stanley Field Hall as soon as you come in. From the East entrance, you'll need to go up one level to enter it.

Most notable in Stanley Field Hall is Maximo, a 122-foot long titanosaur. Because Maximo is a cast replica, kids can climb on the pedestal and touch him. A few real bones are out of reach on display behind him.

Also in Stanley Field Hall are two African elephants, and up above are several model pterosaurs as well as hanging gardens, beautiful 3-D printed gardens that grow plants inspired by the Cretaceous Period (read more about the hanging gardens at the Field Museum's blog).
