The Henry Crown Space Center hosts a variety of content perfect for any space-curious kid. The standouts are the real command module from Apollo 8 (which orbited the moon), and a replica Apollo moon lander used for practice by astronauts during Apollo. The video of the moon landing, above the moon lander, is really well done.
There are a variety of other fun space-oriented exhibits, including a Mercury spacecraft, plus my younger kids always loved launching the “rocket” pop bottles in the middle of the room.
Enter the Giant Dome Theater from the back of the Space Center.
